Chapter 1.General Provision

Article 1(Purpose)
The Terms and Conditions of Service Use aims to prescribe the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the users in using the internet services provided by the secretariat of Busan International Seafood & Fisheries EXPO.

Article 2(Definition)
The terms used in the Terms and Conditions are defined as follows:
1. Member: A person who intends to use the services on the website (online application for participation, online application for observation)

Article 3(Occurrence and Change of Effect)
① The Terms and Conditions shall take effect as the secretariat of Busan International Seafood & Fisheries EXPO posts the information on the Busan International Seafood & Fisheries EXPO and members agree on the information.
② The secretariat of Busan International Seafood & Fisheries EXPO may revise the Terms and Conditions within a reasonable scope that does not violate relevant legislations including the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. For revision, the secretariat of Busan International Seafood & Fisheries EXPO shall announce the revision application date, reason and content on the main page of the website between 7 days and 1 day before the revision application date.
③ The revised Terms and Conditions under the second Paragraph of this Article shall be applied to the members who joined before the revision, and the members who raise objections to the revised Terms and Conditions among the existing members may cancel their application registration anytime.
④ If any members who use the services after the application date of the revised Terms and Conditions, they are regarded agreeing to the revised Terms and Conditions.

Article 4(Application Regulations)
The information that is not specified in this Terms and Conditions shall be in accordance with the relevant legislations including the Framework Act on Telecommunications, the Telecommunications Business Act and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.

Chapter 2 Service Use Contract

Article 5(Application for Use)
The users may apply for use of the services by filling out the application form designated by the secretariat of Busan International Seafood & Fisheries EXPO.

Article 6(Approval of Application for Use)
① The application shall be approved when the members make an application for use after accurately filling out the application form.
② The application may not be approved in the following cases:
1. When the users applied with false information
2. When the users applied using the name of other people
3. When the users failed to meet the criteria outlined in the application for use

Article 7(Change of Contract)
The members may request for a revision of the information entered in the application via the internet or through the secretariat of Busan International Seafood & Fisheries EXPO.

Chapter 3 Obligations of Contracting Parties

Article 8(Obligations of the Secretariat of Busan International Seafood & Fisheries EXPO)
The secretariat of Busan International Seafood & Fisheries EXPO shall make efforts to protect the personal information of the users including the registration information of the users as prescribed by the relevant legislations. The personal information protection of the users shall be prescribed by the “Policy for Personal Information Protection” provided by the relevant legislations and the secretariat of Busan International Seafood & Fisheries EXPO, except for requests by national institutions in accordance with legal regulations including the Framework Act on Telecommunications, for the purpose of investigation into a crime and requests in accordance with procedures designated by other relevant legislations.

Article 9(Copyright of the Posting)
The copyright of the posted information shall be owned by the person who posted it and the members are not allowed to use the data posted on the service by processing and selling it.

Article 10 (Service Use Time)
In principle, the services can be used for 24 hours a day throughout the year unless there are some special business or technical impediments, or incases where there are valid reasons including regular inspection.

Article 11(Suspension of Service Provision)
The services may be suspended in the following cases:
1. Where there are unavoidable cases of construction works including maintenance of service facilities
2. Where the telecommunications services are suspended by the key telecommunications business operators stipulated in Telecommunications Business Act
3. Where system inspection is necessary
4. Where there are other unavoidable reasons

Chapter 6 Indemnification

① The secretariat of Busan International Seafood & Fisheries EXPO shall not take responsibility for the information and data obtained by the members through the services.
② The secretariat of Busan International Seafood & Fisheries EXPO shall not take responsibility for any other points including the information and data posted in the service or the credibility and accuracy of the information.

Article 13(Jurisdiction of Trial)
In the case of any legal disputes regarding service use, the secretariat of Busan International Seafood & Fisheries EXPO shall regard the court that has jurisdiction over the area where the headquarters is located to be the sole competent court.
II. Confirmation of Policy for Personal Information Handling
1. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information: Application for participation of Busan International Seafood & Fisheries EXPO and promotion and marketing of exhibition
2. Items of Collected Personal Information: Name, address, telephone number, fax number, email, password, certificate of business registration
3. Period of Storage and Use of Personal Information: Until the membership withdrawal
※The personal information may be stored for a certain period of time as prescribed by the law.
4.The members are allowed to refuse to the collecting of their personal information. However, please note that the members are not allowed to use the membership services if they do not fill out the necessary items for application for Busan International Seafood & Fisheries EXPO.
